How to fix starting slow logon caused by wlnotify.dll
What is wlnotify.dll?
wlnotify.dll is a library that contains application programming interface (API) functions to receive and handle notifications events generated by Winlogon like Logon, Logoff, Shutdown, and so forth.
Did your logon displaying "Executing: C:\Windows\System32\wlnotify.dll..." and takes very long?!
How to fix it and speed up your logon?
Simple, just enable "Event Log" services and make sure this service is started automatic.
To check, go to Start > Run, type services.msc and click OK or go to control panel > Administratif Tools > Services
Look for Event Log at the name column and double click it and make sure that the Startup type is set as Automatic and Service status is Started.
